Lista de faixas

  • 1. Genesis (instrumental) (00:49)
     copy
    Instrumental
  • 2. Colossus (05:05)
     copy
    Quivering in vicious rage,
    The monumental giant has awakened.
From the depths, a growing rumble
    Triggers the inevitable devastation.

    Snowpack layers fracture down,
    Weakening the jagged crown.
    The Colossus bows His head
To unleash a mighty wave of death
    and doom...
    Icy gloom...
    To consume,
    Freeze and ruin...

The avalanche rushes towards a thicket,
Sweeping the terrain, decimating the wicked.
    No survivors left...
Once a vivid grove, now a white dale of the dead.

Shrubs are crushed and frozen buried,
Trees are ripped out of the ground.

The copse faced an extreme damage,
    Yielded to the gelid reign.
    The remorseless massive barrage
    Colonized a new domain.

    Manifesting greatness and calm,
The imposing giant goes to hibernation.
    From atop, the spiky crown
Rules over the broadened realm of glaciation.
  • 3. Ophidian (07:37)
     copy
Born in the highland chilly swales,
The pellucid snake skims and undulates.
    Faint rustle, shiny scales,
There She slowly flows to defy Her fate.

Slithering forth to the dam, the serpentine river
    Attacks like a battering ram.
She surges and recedes, eroding the hindrance,
    Seeking a way to proceed.

The Nature’s scheme blocked the routine
    Of the turbulent stream.
Her course has ceased, although the beast
    Is set to resist.

Left with no hope, failed in the battle,
The serpent dives down the slope.
Meandering, restless and brute, hectic and rattled,
    She defines a new route.

Biting forward and through, spitting the venom,
    Moving askew.
Drowning in bane, the soil is infected
    With the watery veins.

    The helpless plain
    To be assailed
    By the serpent insane.

    She, the invader,
    The purger
    And the creator.
  • 4. Wyvern (09:34)
     copy
The vigorous plain, full of life and free of pain,
Heavenly place under the sierra’s grace.
Rich, self-sustained, home to creatures unrestrained,
Calmness and peace have existed since forever here.

Howbeit this idyll is bound to vanish
    As the Wyvern descends,
Spawned out by the ferocious serpent
    Through Her venomous breath.

    Torrent Wyvern, water king,
    Gliding on the dribbling wings,
    Flowing roars, drooling teeth,
    Swiftly choking life beneath.

    Critters fleeing, critters drowning, overwhelmed.
Desperate screaming, deathly howling in the air.
The reptile bringing ire on the tide,
Dealing chaos and destruction far and wide.

The Wyvern dissipates, ending the flood
And leaving hundreds of carcasses to rot in the mud.
Those who escaped liquidation now aimlessly roam.
The piedmont paradise transformed into a swamp.

    A gruesome place
    Where bliss decays
    And spirits rest in vain,
Bare of life and free of pain.
  • 5. Dragon (08:41)
     copy
On the lush green canvas, Nature dropped a gem
Glittering in sunrays, a splendid diadem.
A meromictic basin, sloping down so steep
To the very bottom, where the Dragon sleeps.
A blessing or a burden? A mystery to keep.
Quiet but deceptive waters run so deep.

    Acid Dragon,
    The lake’s warden,
    Dormant menace,
    The blessing and the burden.

    There comes the deluge
    On the carriage of wreckage!
    Two waters converge
    For the havoc to surge!
    Thus, this upheaval
    Revives the hibernated evil...

The angry Dragon gushes out of the toxic sediment shroud
And bursts up surfacewards sowing death from below.
Death from below! Death from below! Death from below!

    Churning currents turn and roil.
    The lake suffers in turmoil.
    Noxious fumes propagate.
    Limnofauna suffocates.

The bowl is poisoned to the core.
    Countless corpses drift ashore.
  • 6. Deinos (13:06)
     copy
The wooden fortress next to the lake
Holds its ground, so many lives at stake.
    Water rises, liquid jaws unfurl
And swash shorewards, against the abiding walls.

    Deinosuchus, the rabid monster,
    Brings onslaught onto the forest.

He thrusts among the towering waves.
His merciless gaze is focused on the prey.
The fortress calls to arms, entwined branches brace.
In panic and disorder, all dwellers flee away.

Rows of trees are slumping, piling.
    Deinos is on a rampage:
    Biting, smashing, lacerating
Every single thing He can engage.
    Waves engulf the fallen stronghold.
    The savage fiend feasts thousandfold.

    Deinos strikes again!

    Biting, smashing, lacerating, mutilating,
    Wounding, killing, extirpating, desecrating.

Ravaged and desolated, the wooden ruins mourn in ache.
Water steadily ebbs, dragging trunks into the lake.
Vultures and crows gather up to chant the dirge
And gorge on what is left after the great scourge.

The splendor of the ancient woodland is no more.
  • 7. Weaver (06:43)
     copy
Skulking out of chasmic caverns, cloaked in the aura mephitic,
    The eight-legged abomination
Creeping to the grieving forest, a tenebrous and monolithic
    Labyrinth of malformation.
An ideal site for denning and a perfect ground for feeding,
    Full of fear and desperation.
So, She skitters to the wasteland of the wounded boles still bleeding
    And starts weaving.

The ghastly spider spins Her baleful web
To ensnare those who are not yet dead.

There She spreads the web within the ligneous maze
To beguile the alive ones by the nocuous embrace.
Poisonous miasma fills the nightly haze.
The spell is cast, the trap is set and now the Weaver waits.
    Now the Weaver waits...

Victims getting tangled in the viscous mesh,
Caught off-guard while wandering around, unheeding.
And the utmost cost for the behavior so rash
Is to helplessly observe the eight-eyed death come nearing.

She weaves demise upon them all,
There’s no escape, nowhere to crawl,
Nowhere to hide, nowhere to run.
    Her presence cannot be undone.
Her morbid stare corrodes the brains,
Her ghoulish fangs congeal the veins,
Her putrid breath pervades the lungs
    And the vitality departs.

In this cursed place, every living thing asphyxiates.
In this haunted land, every living thing has found its end.
